Growing Families International (GFI) is a parenting ministry with a unique and important focus: curriculum and equipping. This ministry reaches millions of families around the globe to speak a God centered parenting message. This is accomplished through local communities in ten U.S. states as well as more communities overseas. The local communities offer classes and resources by trained leadership in GFI curriculum. A variety of curriculum is available for churches, individuals, studies, and ministries to help parents today raise their children with Biblical principles.
One parenting resource is Mom’s Notes. They are presentations on over 40 topics including obedience, wisdom, building health family relationships, character training and more. These topics are designed to sustain and grow mom’s who have been through the GFI family curriculum. Specific material are available for a variety of children’s ages to help parents single out their area of need. Specific resources are available for the newest arrival in helping parents of newborns, continuing through toddler years, childhood, preteen and teenage years all have focused tools for helping parents through parenting by God’s word. Resources are also in place for the children themselves such as an audio series of Bible adventures for the children. Some materials are also available in Spanish. Targeted resources include “The Starving Soul” which provides resources and encouragement for those who struggle with perfectionism, anorexia and bulimia.
